A: Pours an opaque black with a bubbly tan head that recedes rather quickly. Only a minimal amount of lacing remains once the head recedes.

S: Aromas of roasted grain, dried black cherry, espresso, vanilla bean, dark chocolate, rum raisins, prunes, spiced pears, and ripe apple fill the nose, while a bit of peppery alcohol becomes more noticeable as the beer warms.

T: Notes of dark chocolate, roasted grain, espresso, vanilla bean, burnt toast, black cherry, prune, woodsmoke, spiced pear, apple, rum raisin, and earthy, mildly herbal, lemony hops fill the mouth. The finish is hoppy and fruity with pronounced notes of herbs, lemon, apple, pear, dark chocolate, coffee, espresso, and rum raisin giving way to a pronounced alcohol burn.

M: Full-bodied, oily, and slick. Carbonation is delicate. Alcohol presence is very noticeable. Far from being truly difficult to drink, this ale is still just a bit rough for a sipping beer.

O: An interesting imperial stout, though it is a bit hot and rough for me.

A - Pours a pitch black with a ne-finger foamy tan head. The head dissapates quickly leaving no lacing.

S - Faint aroma of dark roasted malts and dark chocolate.

T - A nice mix of espresso, dark chocolate, and sweet dark fruits. Finish is bitter coffee and woody smokiness.

M - Full bodied with medium carbonation. Syrupy mouthfeel. Dry finish.

O - This is an above average Imperial Stout. Lots of big bold flavors. Would definetly drink again.
