A- poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy dark ruby color with a two-finger foamy off-white head with decent retention, leaving behind a few small patches of lace
S- The nose it a bit more sweet than a typical DIPA with some sugary caramel notes. The hops are herbal and peppery, with some pine and citrus peel
T- The sweetness follows in flavor as well, with candy-like sugar with some caramel. Hops kick in around mid-palate with some herbal, piney and floral flavors. Sweet finish with a long hop linger
M- Medium-heavy body with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is pure silky cream and finishes velvety and smooth. ABV is hidden quite nicely among the big mouthfeel, just a touch of alcohol warmth on the finish
O- Sweeter than expected, which is uncommon for this style. It actually makes is seem somewhat 'balanced' if that is even possible with this style. However the sweetness makes it a bit hard to finish

Poured from 12oz bottle into a tulip.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a light haze and a moderately strong effervescence. Head is a thin finger of frothy ivory foam. Not too bad.
Smell: strong hop aroma which is mostly floral but has some citrusy and earthy character too. It works for me!
Taste: caramelly malt flavor with a big hop character which is floral, green and a little dank. Bitterness is a little light for the style but OK. Not too bad, but kind of muddled.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a great carbonation and creaminess. Bam!
Overall: the flavor is muddled and not well balanced in my opinion. Not a terrible beer, but also not one that really grabs me.

Pour is dark copper, strong haze and a dense yellowish white head with some large bubbles. Nose is strong pine, light citrus, notes of caramel and a touch of cardboard. Taste has more pine, cardboard, lots of malt, caramel, brown sugar, a touch sticky. Full bodied with assertive carb. Some residuals left.
