Pours a cloudy, brown color. One inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of citrus hops, sweet malt, hint of floral, hint of grass, slight roasted malt, alcohol, hint of pale malt, and a hint of citrus. Fits the style of an Imperial IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and creamy, with an average carbonation level. There is also a noticeable bitterness. Tastes of alcohol, sweet malt, slight roasted malt, slight caramel malt, slight citrus, citrus hops, and a hint of floral hops. Overall, good appearance, aroma, body, blend, and feel.

12 ounce bottle poured into a snifter.
A: Pours a hazy copper color with a half finger head and some lacing.
S: Citrus hops along with some sweet bready malts to balance it out. A hint of alcohol.
T: Very much like the nose with some caramel flavors as well. Hides the alcohol well.
M: Medium to heavy bodied with good carbonation. Smooth!
O: I enjoyed this beer quite a bit. It's my first Evil Twin brew, and I'm definitely satisfied. It almost tastes like an Oak Aged Double IPA. Nice balance and flavor.

Reviewed from notes. Had at the Independent. Poured from 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.
A: Deep hazy copper, with a good white head and moderate visible carbonation.
S: Caramel and sweet malts, pine and citrus rind hops.
T: Follows the nose, with the addition of grapefruit and bitter pine hop profile to the mix. The caramel malts come to the front of the palate more than I would like.
M: Medium to slightly heavy bodied, alcohol well-hidden given the ABV. Adequate carbonation sensation.
O: This is a decent offering, but I'm not overly impressed with it. The caramel malt flavors clash with the hop profile. That said - I did follow it up with a black and tan (Yin & Yang), and the flavors meshed very well with the stout and were more enjoyable. But on its own Yang fell a little short.

A - Pours a hazy amber-orange with a finger of frothy off-white head. Fades fairly quickly.
S - Grapefruit, citrus, pine, grassy hops, sweet caramel and bready malts, some residual sugars and a hint of booze.
T - Grapefruit, pineapple, citrus, pine, grassy hops, good hop bitterness, sweet caramel and bready malts, some residual sugars, and some booze.
M - Full bodied moderate carbonation. Smooth and a bit syrupy, warming, dry, and bitter finish.
D - Good hoppy DIPA. Good malt base and overall balance.

Clearish amber-red colour with no real head. Okay.
Sweet malty aroma with some citrussy hops. Mild acetaldehyde that accentuates the sweetness.
Malty sweetness with more acetaldehyde. Some bitterness and touches of tropical hops. Not amazing.
Medium-full body with moderate carbonation. A bit thick.
A disappoint DIPA. Okay I suppose but the acetaldehyde kills it.
