A: Yellow/orange and opaque with a white head.
S: Lots of funk, lemon, and various light fruits in the nose.
T: Funk, orange, lemon (citrus comes late, especially lemon and some citrus peel).
M: Medium bodied and smooth.
O: A bit odd for a pale ale but very good. A bit bretty, perhaps, though not what I'd call tart.

330ml bottle, the first of these odes to (mostly) Danish hipster neighbourhoods to reach us here in remote-ass Alberta, though I'm confused by the Sønderho and Istedgade mentions on the label - are they not two different places? Aged in white wine barrels, and then given a hefty-sounding dose of PAC-NW hops.
This beer pours a hazy medium golden amber hue, with three fingers of dense, puffy, foamy off-white head, which leaves a few Denmark-friendly swaths of peninsular lace around the glass as it duly recedes.
It smells upfront of a brettanomyces-tinted funky fruity sourness, musty dry white wine, semi-sweet pale malt, aged citrus rind, and leafy, piney hops. The taste is tart, somewhat acrid generic citrus pith, sour musty funk, dry yeast, perfumed tropical fruit, underwhelming pale grainy malt, a further lemon bitterness, barrel-aged white wine, and a floral, soft perfumed booziness.
The bubbles are a tad edgy, but generally agreeable, the body medium-light in weight, and a little too astringent overall to be considered all that smooth. It finishes on the dry side, the fruit, funk, yeast, and hops all happy to collude as such.
I'm not quite certain why this isn't listed as an American Wild Ale, it's got all the markers, even though there's no mention of any yeast program on the label, so I guess there's that. At any rate, the funk and yeast are way more prevalent than any APA imbiber has any right to expect. Which is so very hipster, I could just shoot them. Really.

a murky peachy-orange in color with a finger of white head (dissipated slowly). funky sour smell.. wine, bell pepper, jasmine perfume, honey. this tastes a bit different than i remember from when i had it on tap at torst bar in brooklyn. lots of flower petal flavor, funky brett flavor, white wine , lemon citrusy tartness. a very unique tasting sour.. almost like drinking a flower-like carbonated perfume.
medium body with medium carbonation, would work way better if it had higher carbonation.
it is decent in the bottle, but this beer was way better served on the torst tap system. perfect temperature/perfectly carbonated.

Pours hazy amber with a fading head.
Nose shows brett, soft peach, passion fruit and lemon. Also some very soft light malt underneath. Lovely.
More brett and light fruit as a flavour, along with subtle white wine and woody notes. Some soft clean malt underneath again.
Too highly carbonated.
Pretty damn delicious.

Poured from a 33cL bottle into a Koningshoeven chalice. Stamped "MIT 01.18[?].2013"
A: Clearish and pale gold in colour.
S: Tart and fruity, with definite winey qualities and some funky yeast. Smells a bit like Russian River Temptation. I quite enjoy the rich sourness, but the Brett is a bit much for me.
T: Interesting. Light and heavily fruity. I think the Citra did a world of good, but it could also be the wine aging that makes it soft and nice. Aftertaste is dry and nice.
M: A bit lackluster.
O: Very interesting, and I really enjoyed it, but it's kinda...off. Not super-compelling, but still worth trying, if overpriced.
