Appearance: Pours cloudy straw yellow with a small, white head that quickly collars.
Smell: Lemon peel, coriander, honey, tangerines/peaches with some undeniable funk.
Taste: Begins with honey and tangerine/mango. Middle of the mouth is earthy bitterness with some funk. It finishes semi-dry with lingering notes of the earthy bitterness and funk from the middle with remnants of the honey/tangerine in the background. There's not much booze to speak of, though you might guess it could be above 6%.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and sticky, with good carbonation.
Overall: This was better than I thought it would be. It's a really good spring/summer beer and a pleasant surprise.

Pours a brilliant clear golden straw with three fingers of foamy, creamy white head that rockily settles to an inch. Good retention; lots of web-like lacing.
Smells like a bready, delicious Saison. Warm, floral yeasty phenols mixed with bread malt aromas; rose water, dandelions, white pepper, bubblegum, dough, etc. Lovely.
“Huh, that is awfully fucking good,” I said. Fresh and doughy, with spicy phenols, some very aromatic floral notes with stannky herbs, fresh citrus, and white wine flavors coming in at the middle and finish. The finish is increasing medicinal with a long-lingering hoppy stickness at the back of the throat.
Light to medium bodied with a slightly boozy-feeling velvety mouthfeel. Good carbonation, lingering finish, slight aftertaste from hops.
Very good take on a Saison.
This is one of my favorite styles and I am glad to have tried this fairly hoppy, semi-funky version of one. It pours quite nice looking with the gratuitous head that a beer like this should have. It has a very pleasing aroma with many classic Belgian characteristics. The beer on the whole is tasty, refreshing and just hoppy enough to give you a twinge in your cheek.
Would have again; worth seeking out.
