On-tap at Prohibition Pig in Waterbury.
Beer is golden in colour, with a good-sized white head.
Nose contains light fruits and yeast, along with some spice.
Taste is quite yeasty, very dry. Grassy hops and light fruits. Nice flavour, and surprisingly traditional. There is no twist of any sort here, just a straight-up saison.
Very refreshing, medium bodied. Moderate carbonation.
Overall, quite tasty. I would slot this in the underrated category, as I find it to be quite a good saison.

A - Golden hue with a perfect fluffy white head. Not much else to say honestly. Steady carbonation.
S - Nice spicy nose with toasted bread character. Second whiff brings the honey character out. Peppery earthy notes on the hops. A lot going on.
T - Surprisingly citrus up front. A lot of spice and bread tones. The citrus really carries though. Biscuit and grain sweetness on the finish. Expected more spice. Hops add a sharpness.
M - A very nice beer. Great mouth feel, with a lively carbonation. Finish is spice and sweetness lingering.
O - This is a beer I will most certainly buy again. Not your average saison. Hops almost steal the show but let the yeast and malt peek through. Refreshing on a summer day. Almost a Beglian pale ale in my mind.
