thanks to tenderbranson69 for sharing this, enjoyed chilled in a tulip
The color is dark golden with very hazed look and half the glass was foam...even when poured slowly. The lace clings in thick rings. The smell is good very floral and tropical aroma w/ lots of yeast esters bringing the fruitiness level out. The feel is mostly dry with semi-dry finish and mild alcohol with medium body and moderately bitter.
The flavor starts out piney with a gentle citrus aspect... the tropical fruit and melon seems to come forward more as it warms with a light caramel tinge and mild grainy flavor from the malt more toward the finish. Overall this is a good IPA, definitely better than average but it is not really the best choice for the price I am guessing

A: Pours a cloudy dark golden yellow with some hints of brown in color with light to moderate amounts of carbonation. The beer has a three finger tall dense foamy light beige head that very slowly reduces to very thick film evenly covering the entire surface of the beer. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: There are strong aromas of grassy, medicinal, and earthy hops which is slightly off-putting. The aroma is very sharp. astringent and light amounts of grainy malts.
T: Upfront there is a slightly unpleasant and off-putting grainy malts with some earthy mushroom flavor to it. On top of that, there is a strong flavor of grassy, medicinal, and earthy malts which contribute significant amounts of bitterness which linger way too long.
M: Medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. There is a moderate to significant amount of dryness in the middle of the body and sharply astringent towards the finish.
O: Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your perspective) this beer tastes exactly like I imagine cat piss would really taste based on the ammonia component of the smell. The appearance and the smell are OK but the taste of this beer is slightly off-putting - not sure I would want to have another of these.

A: The beer is cloudy brownish yellow in color and poured with a two finger high off white head that has excellent retention properties and hardly died down and always left a short head covering surface.
S: There are moderately strong aromas of gooseberries and earthiness in the nose.
T: The taste shares similarities with the smell and has some notes that somewhat resembles ammonia, which I assume was the inspiration for its name.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer definitely has a unique aroma and flavor profile. It definitely takes some getting used to.
