A- pours a murky brown with a light tan head.
S- leafy herbal hops on the nose with a toasty bread malt character with notes of pecan like nuttiness. Chaulky yeast character on the finish with a noticeable alcohol.
T- toasty bready malt with more nut flavors. Aspriny and herbal hop flavors with a decent amount of bitterness. Astringent alcohol flavor with a chaulky yeast on the finish.
MF- dusty astringent mouthfeel with a medium body. Average carbonation.
D- ok drinkability

Caramel amber-brown color. Light haze. Good bar-pour head. Nice lace on the glass. Blanketing initially.
Some brown malt smells. Very little hop nose although there's a bit of prickliness too.
The taste is far more bitter than the smell suggests. Good Brown Ale base though. The hop is unusual because it reminds me of grapefruit rind which typically I only pick up in the smell. Good body and low carbonation. A bit harsh.

A-Pours a dark brown. Head is a fairly dense layer of tan, sudsy matter. It leaves sticky, patchy lacing marks.
S-Aroma is heavy on the pine. A lot like a Black IPA. Definitely toasty and lightly chocolatey. I can tell this one is going to be pretty bitter.
T-Intense bitterness is born from a mix of piney hops and charred and roasty mealtimes. The hoppiness is bitter without much actual hop flavor besides said bitterness. Some nuttiness.
M-Very, very bitter. Took me a while to drink it. Body isn't even that heavy but the bitterness slows me down,
O/D-It wasn't bad but it was definitely an overpriced 4 pack. I think I dropped around $13 for what is essentially a Brown IPA.
