A: The beer is hazy very dark amber in color and has lots of visible particulates floating in suspension near the bottom of the glass. It poured with a half finger high beige head that died down, but left a coating of bubbles running down the sides of the glass and a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pine resin hops and biscuit and caramel malts are present in the nose along with some faint hints of citrus.
T: The taste is similar to the smell, but starts off with hints of initial sweetness from the biscuit and caramel malts, which is then followed by increasing notes of piney hops and a light amount of corresponding bitterness, the latter of which is most noticeable towards the finish and aftertaste
M: It feels medium-bodied and quite malty on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. The hops lend some crispness to the mouthfeel.
O: This beer has a really nice balance between the malts and hops, having a heavy dose of both. I liked its bold flavors, but think this would probably be best suited as a beer for the winter months given its fuller body nature.

Pours really dark amber with a small fluffy beige head.
Lots of tangerine and grapefruit on the nose, faint pineapple, bit of pine, bit of fresh tobacco, biscuit, sticky caramel, some woody-herbal notes (hard to pinpoint).
Rough grassy hops up front, really bitter from the get-go. Lots of bitter citrus peel too. Sweet caramel maltiness shows up, rounding up some tangerine and faint mango, but just for a short while. Strong grassy hops for the finish too, really rough and bitter, with some strong woodsy notes, like pine cone and spruce.
Aftertaste has lots of grassy hop, chewing tobacco, light citrusy notes, almost no malt sweetness. Medium body and carbonation.
Hops are too aggressive and don't deliver as much flavor as they do bitterness. Malts have that strong flash of caramel sweetness, but it's way too short. It's ok, but not my type.

A red ale with a good hop edge. Great lingering taste.

Good at hiding the alcohol content, but I feel like a lot of the cedar notes mask the rest of the flavors this could have.
