A: The beer is slightly hazy yellowish amber in color and has a light amount of carbonation along with small particles floating in suspension. It poured with a half finger high frothy white head that never completely faded away.
S: There are light to moderate aromas of citrus and pine resin hops in the nose.
T: The taste is very similar to the smell and has flavors of citrus and pine resin hops along with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: If you like microbrews and are counting calories, this is the real Michelob Ultra of craft beers.

12 oz can at fridge temp poured into a snifter. A date stamped on the bottom, but it is unreadable.

Pours out a light orange-deep golden color, a slight hazy with very fine sediment. Soapy white head, about one fingers worth. Average retention and decent lacing left on the glass.

Interesting aroma. Very reminiscent of some raw pellet hops, very pungent. But other than this not a whole lot else to detect.

Not a ton of flavor, but enough to keep you interested at 2.7%. Again with that pungent raw hop pellet flavor, also a bit of hop resin, lemon citrus, and just the slightest sweet grain character. A little bit watery, but I expected it to be more so. Finishes with a nice hop bitterness.

So crisp and refreshing, kind of a higher, more bitey carbonation on this one.

There's some thing I really like about this beer. The fact that its lighter than any BMC yet still packs enough flavor, the amazing session ability. Most of these session IPAs come off very watery and seem to take on a big grainy/ yeasty character, but I don't get much of that here. The only thing that holds me back is the price or else there would be a steady supply of this in my fridge.

Came across pretty bitter, sharp, and metallic. Lots of bite for such a low abv beer. Would have expected and wanted something easier and smoother.

12 oz can with an illegible date stamp on the bottom.
Apricot-amber color with a medium, very durable head.

Aroma: fruity; hoppy; lightly bready.

Flavor: follows aroma. Mildly bitter but a bit more sour up front; reversed in the finish. Lasting aftertaste.

Feel: near medium body and carbonation; semi-dry finish.

O: Style seems similar to Berliner Weisse -- at least it is both flavorful and low ABV.
Certainly a big beer for 2.7%.

The ivory-colored head on this beer starts at a solid two finger's height, dropping at a moderate pace to a patchy island of foam that laves plenty of spotting, some heavy enough to be considered patching. The beer itself is a thick dark yellow, completely opaque though it shines brightly.
The hops bouquet is mostly citrus with a bit of dusty earth, lemon, slight spiciness, and something akin to tropical fruits balancing it out.
Pine and lemon peel are first on the tongue before some grains kick in. A little bit of black pepper is there too. A hint of musty earth pulls out in the finish.
The body is light and there's a firm crispness, but there's an note of tea leaf in the feel and a certain metallic sort of thing that's usually found in English beers. It gets a little limp under the crispness, but not too badly.

12oz single can, sold as rather auspiciously over-priced six-packs around here. Nice history lesson on the word 'bikini' detailed on the label blurb.

This beer pours a slightly hazy, pale golden yellow hue, with four fat fingers (or a fistful of skinny, take yer pick) of puffy, loosely foamy, and rocky dirty white head, which leaves some pleasant deer antler lace around the glass as it slowly fades out.

It smells of dank pine resin, orange and grapefruit rind, caramel cream, a wet stone minerality, a touch of earthy yeast, and further leafy, musty hops. The taste is more bitter pine needle and its forest floor detritus friends, astringent grapefruit, lemon, and blood orange pith, biscuity caramel malt, crackery bread, and more herbal, leafy, and somewhat floral hops. No perfume danger here, boyos.

The carbonation is pretty tight in its edgy, wide-spread deployment, the body on the light side of medium weight, and quite plainly smooth, the hops not up to playing when the cat's away. It finishes mostly dry, the piney, leafy, etc. hops outshining any lingering citrus notes in their sloughing off of the now wan malt.

Tending towards a particular end-point (yet still adhering to the general 'point' of the ISA proto-style), Bikini Beer does well by its American IPA roots. Largely a hop-driven affair, in the right way, perhaps a bit of mouthfeel malaise is encountered due to the low ABV, but that's easily forgotten - I can sense my own bikini line likes this just fine as well!

Can't read the date on the can other than 2013

Pours a chill hazed amber with a pinky of pearl colored head. Clears up nicely, above average head retention & average lacing

S: Grass, straw & lemon & a little pineapple

T: Follows the nose, light breadyness, a bit of grapefruit up front. Faint pineapple & stronger pear notes as this warms along with a little grassiness & lemons, a little graininess as well. Finishes with pineapple, grapefruit & a little bit of pear

MF: Light/medium bodied, firm carbonation. Pretty good balance

A lot flavor considering the age & low ABV. Drinks very easy. If the price was better I'd buy more

Served from bottle into a Samuel Smith imperial pint. Poured a hazy yellow-orange with a two finger off white head that subsided to a half finger slowly. Maintained phenomenal lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, citrus, citrus hop, earth, earth hop, and fruit. The flavor was of sweet malt, wheat, citrus, citrus hop, earth, and earth hop. It had a light feel on the palate with medium-high carbonation. Overall this was a fairly good brew. I saw the label and laughed at the low ABV on this one. However, upon opening the bottle you could tell this was a completely different animal. There was tons of really nice balanced flavor going on that was a very pleasant surprise. A really well done brew that everyone should have the chance to try.
