Poured into a standard pint from a can.
I picked this up not knowing it was a light IPA, or even a VERY light IPA.
Clearly looks thinner than normal, but the lacing on the light white head is nice.
The aroma is a little more malty than a typical IPA, but there are nice floral hints here.
Full of flavor, actually, if not body. I dig it. Is this even "session" though? This would be the best beer you can buy cold in Oklahoma. Don't know about the market, but it works, even if it is not my thing.
Body is way too light.
Nice experiment! Maybe not worthwhile in general. Do you know a light weight that also loves IPAs? Get this then, I guess?

12 oz can into a pint glass.
A: Pours a lightly hazed amber color. The head is a finger high, with an eggshell shade. Retention is okay for the style, and as the head recedes, leaves behind some webs of lacing on the glass.
S: At first, it seems too mild: All I get are a kiss of piny hops. Letting it open up, though, will reveal some more floral tones, along with a bit of crackery malt. For 2.7%, it's damn good.
T: The flavor, though, is pretty much hop water. Lots of bitterness without much in the way of malt. It is what it is, no more, no less.
M: Really light and watery - there's no doubt this is 2.7%. With plentiful carbonation, it goes down very easily. This feels quite insubstantial.
O: Being an interesting experiment is the best I can say about this offering. Given its price point (fantastic by typical Danish standards, above average by 'Murican ones), I can't see any reason to revisit this - unless it was offered to me freely, of course.
