From 06/01/13 notes. Had an 8 oz. pour of this on tap at Tørst in Brooklyn, NY.

a - Pours a hazy burnt orange color with one inch of bright white head and moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of pale malts, citrus, fruity malts, bready malts, and light floral hops. Some decent hops and fruit in the nose.

t - Tastes of citrus, sorachi ace hops, more bready malts than the nose had, pale malts, biscuit, dough, and pale malts. More bready and more malts than the nose.

m - Medium body and low to moderate carbonation. Body is pretty smooth and easy to drink.

o - Overall a pretty solid APA. Some nice citrus and fruity hops in the nose, and lots of malts in the taste. Very easy to drink, a goo summer APA I'd have again.

On-tap at Craft Beer Co., served in a goblet.

A: Clear light amber body with a fine white head. Ok retention, great lace. Nice.

S: Herbal and fruity hops, with gooseberry and pine standing out. Some melon and blueberry are rather peculiarly present as well. Interesting, and pleasant. New Zealand hops?

T: Hoppy up front, with fruitiness dominating. Some malts combine with the citrus and berry notes midway through, and the finish is cleanly bitter. Good stuff.

M: Lively, creamy medium body. Pleasant.

O: Very good, but a little bit forgettable.

Cheers!

On tap at the Cask, Pimlico

This beer is brewed exclusively for the Cask and its sister pub, the Craft Beer Co (according to the clip on the tap head)

Pours a hazy golden colour with a thin white head of small bubbles

Lots of tropical fruit in the hoppy aroma of this beer and a little pine also

Citrus flavours come into play in the taste, I would say it tastes a little more bitter than it smells and the pine and wood also come in to play more and a little grass comes through

Just the right level of carbonation, good in the mouth and a nice bitter-dry aftertaste

Overall a good all round hoppy/dry APA
