Review #400, poured into a snifter
A- pours pitch black with just a trace of foamy light tan head that completely dissapears shortly after the pour
S- wow, I think I can smell this one from a couple of feet away, so many aromas pouring out. Big and raw dark chocolate notes, reminiscent of fudge laced with pecans. Raw coffee bean with some vanilla sweetness, toffee and dark cherries. Heavy cream sweetness with toasted biscotti aromas and a hint of alcohol to finish it out. The complexity of the aroma is rediculous and its only opening up more as it warms
T- heavy-cream sweetness is followed by dark chocolate fudge cake, espresso with hazelnut and vanilla, toasted makt provides toasted biscotti flavors. Dark fruits emerge near the end with some fig and sweet prune juice, chocolaty-yet-somewhat tart on the finish with some booze to close it out
M- medium-heavy somewhat viscous body with low carbonation and a smooth and velvety mouthfeel, warming alcohol on the finish with a linger that lasts forever
O- this one was so complex, I'm still picking out new flavors and aromas. This would make a perfect dessert beer, but may be too sweet to handle a whole bottle alone. Easily top 5 aroma grade for me

Appearance: Dark tannish brown head. Nice lacing of thick and viscous liquid bread.
Smell: Very enticing smell of Coffee and dark chocolate, brown sugar, caramel, and cream.
Taste: Well hidden booze out of that caramel and creme. I can drink this brew any time.
Mouthfeel: Viscous and chewy...light heavy feel. I might be bias on this one coz' I had a stronger beer before this. I could've mess with my palate before I had this but it still came out awesome.
Overall: This brew is amazing! I'll seek it again. I hope it becomes available more often in my area . It's all worth it.
