Bomber poured into a snifter.
Great appearence after the first pour. Looks like a great imperial stout. Smell was incredible out of the bottle, but has changed slightly as it warms up. Lots of chocolate bar flavor in the taste, but there is something I just can't put my finger on. Almost like some sort of salty taste - like a soy sauce soaked oyster. Still tastes very good, but not as good as I was expecting.

Pours solid black, with a frothy brown head and dissipates after a few minutes leaving a consistent light lacing around the perimeter of the glass.
Smell is amazing, chocolate and coffee, sweetness leaves you floating sky high waiting for that first sip. Lives ups to its namesake, smells like a chocolate cookie.
Taste leaves you wanting, coffee taste is not well done, taste like pourly made bitter expresso. As you progress though the drink the bitterness fades but the taste left is more like an oatmeal stout or milk stout and does not have the viscosity one looks for in a top notch imperial.
flat smooth mouth feel.
Overall the beer is not bad but does not live up to the hype.

dark cocoa head with micro bubbles rising about one finger and grasping the sides of the glass with an iron .. er... grip? I turned away for a minute and so did the head... man it ran away quicker than that thing you found in your morning bed that ONE time in college, this is as dark as they come, pretty good looking
near motor oil thick with just a hint of bite from the carbonation at the end, the flavor is as full as the aroma, this teeters on boozy but does not dive off into the deep end, I am getting more chocolate (dark, bitter) than I am coffee notes but the coffee seems to add a touch too the finish which hangs out a long time, it really coats the mouth, almost feels like drinking hershey's syrup, as I go further into this good dark night I am sensing the coffee more prominently and not as much vanilla/chocolate sweetness, this is a tasty monster and
damn seductive one at that, the ABV is sneaky as all get out, this the jack russel of impy stouts, get out!
another home run from evil twin, this one ain't a cheap date though but it is hard to argue with the end product from this purveyor of fermented nectar
