A- Black as night, and it pours extremely thick-Iike motor oil. Quickly disappaiting dark tan head. Moderate lacing in the glass.

S- Roasted malts present themselves as scorched nuts and coffee grounds.

T- Intense, bitter chocolate and espresso bean. Some dark fruit emerges on the mid palate. Very difficult to capture everything going on here.

M- Like drinking a bitter milkshake. Highly viscous and an almost tannic sensation appears after swallowing.

O- Intense Imperial Stout. Very rich and thick and it easily serves as dessert or a nightcap. Another unique offering from Evil Twin.

22 ounce bottle into snifter, no bottle dating. Pours super dense pitch black color with a 2 finger dense dark brown head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, roasted malt, fudge, dark bread, raisin, prune, licorice, tobacco, smoke, light char, and smoke/roasted earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of deep and intense dark/roasted malt and fruity/earthy notes; with great strength. Taste of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, fudge, roasted malt, dark bread, raisin, prune, licorice, tobacco, smoke, light char, and smoke/roasted earthiness. Fair amount of roasted bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, fudge, roast, dark bread, raisin, prune, licorice, tobacco, smoke, light char, and roast/smoke earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity and intense robustness of dark/roasted malt and fruity/earthy flavors; with a great roasted bitterness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and extremely full bodied; with a very thick, creamy, slick, and lightly chalky mouthfeel that is incredible. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a world class imperial stout. All around insane complexity and balance of dark/roasted malt and fruity/earthy flavors; and very smooth to sip on for the big ABV. An absolutely amazing offering.
