A: Poured from the bomber into a Piraat tulip/stemmed-snifter-type glass. Body appears black and thick on the pour. A 1.5-finger tight-bubbled brown head settles on top and recedes to leave behind some legs of lace.
S: First impression is of rum-soaked dark fruits. As it warms I get dried fruits and chocolate.
T: Big chocolatey malt with molasses, dark chocolate and fudge brownies. Some roasted barley malt, which at times crosses over into burnt coffee beans or even charcoal. Fruitiness makes me think of chocolate-covered black cherries. Finishes with modest bitterness which, along with the drying alcohol, creates a nice counterbalance to the sweetness of the malt. Warmth felt in the belly after a few sips, which is no surprise given the 12% ABV.
M: Silky smooth; quite nice in the feel. Not sure I've ever had such a heavy-bodied RIS/Double-Imperial Stout feel so light on the palate. Definitely a heavyweight, but it drinks much lighter.
O: Very good.

Had at the blind tiger- pours a thick pitch black with a finger of very dark brown head, which quickly receded and left little lacing.
Smell is decadent- roasted coffee, chocolate,a little caramel sweetness.
Tastes delicious- super rich and roasty and sweet. But not cloying at all. Just really decadent. Tastes like Belgian dark chocolate truffles with coffee and caramel.
Full bodied and light carbonation. I love evil twin and while this is no bourbon imperial biscotti break, because really what is, it is still a delicious stout. If you see it,you should drink it.
