a golden pour with 2 fingers of fluffy white head leaving behind excellent trails of lacing. smells of grapefruit, peaches, saison-like breadyness.. the flavor is nice and bitter up front, with a saison-like subtle tartness, lots of grapefruit citrus, a mild funky note in the end. medium body with high carbonation, very refreshing!

this is not as funky as i had hoped for, but is very delicious nonetheless. i've had it for a few months in the fridge because i wasn't sure how the yeast would develop over time, not sure if it's changed since i got it, but it is very nicely hopped and the yeast balances that out nicely.. definitely recommend it..

A - dark orangish gold with a 2 finger, white head that has decent retention

S - incredibly musty and dank, something fruity but hard to place

T - piney, herbal, alcohol, bitter finish all on the mellow side

M - medium bodied, almost feels murky? in the mouth

decent, but not blown away at the 9.99$ pricetag. not to be avoided, just not amazed by it for the price it currently stands at. might buy again if it were a few bucks cheaper

Served in tulip. Poured an attractive bright yellow color, but solid. Picture the thickest Hefe you've ever seen and double it. Totally opaque, no translucence at all. The beer had about a half-inch of bright white head that had low retention and decent lacing.

The lead aroma was a slight Brett scent, and a very low hop presence. There wasn't a real malt scent either. Both the Brett and the pine & citrus hops were a bit tangier on the tongue, and the citrus aspect lingered at the finish.

The body was nicely medium and surprisingly smooth. Drinkability was good, but I'm not sure I'd want 2 in a row. Overall, a nice enough brew, but one I'm not sure is worth it's $8 price.

on tap at sams in Durham. pours a pale golden with no head. the smell is dominated by citrus hops. very nice aroma on this one. taste is quite intriguing. its definitely dominated by hops but the Belgian characteristics also are mixed in. its fairly unique, like a mix between an American and a Belgian IPA. it works pretty well, though I don't think I could drink more than one of these. heavier side of medium bodied with low carbonation.

overall this is definitely worth trying, though I don't think you'll want it more than once.
