12 oz can was poured into a ping glass.

Appearance: This beer poured a one finger frothy hear that has reduced and left some nice lacing on the glass. It is a copper amber color with some haziness, floaties, and little carbonation coming up through the glass.

Smell: bready and caramel malts, citrus and tangerine.

Taste: Same as above with some nice lingering bitterness like the style should be.

Mouthfeel: Creamy smooth, medium bodied, traditional bitterness, medium carbonation, and quite enjoyable.

Overall: Pretty nice for an APA out of a can. Love ET and what they think of and where they make their beer. Very enjoyable and happy to have stumbled across this style.

Poured from a 12 oz. can into a tall pint glass. Canned on 01/29/14.

Appearance: Pours a bright golden orange with a lot of rising bubbles. Big three finger off white head with decent retention. Leaves a good amount of lacing on the glass.

Smell: A juicy, earthy, and crisp balanced aroma with good hints of citrus, grass, and grains. Earthy, floral, and herbal hop scent with hints of grass and slight pine. Citrus hop hints of orange, lemon, grapefruit, and mango. Bready pale malt backing with hints of grains, straw, cracker, yeast, and biscuit. Some sweet honey like hints as well. A pretty solid APA style aroma.

Taste: Like the aroma hints at, an earthy, juicy, and nicely grainy and crisp balanced Pale Ale taste with notes of citrus, grass, and grains. Upfront mix of floral and earthy hop notes along with some grass and pine. Citrus hop notes of orange peel, grapefruit, lemon, and mango. Solid balance of bready malt with notes of grains, cracker, straw, biscuit, and yeast along with some light honey like sweetness. A pretty solid taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Crisp, juicy, and smooth. Finishes dry.

Overall: A very solid take on the American Pale Ale style. Good balance of earthy and citrus hops with some sweet malt.

Paid about 3 bucks for the single. Poured into a pint glass.
A - Great head a nice 1/2 inch that takes forever to settle. Color is good a light bright yellow with an orange tint. A pretty looking beer.
S - Not overwhelming but balanced has a distinct orange peel and citrus rind smell, some bready malts and just a touch of grapefruit hops. Very decent.
T - Its good and simple a typical pale full of sweet malts, bready backbone and yet this one does have some grapefruit hops throughout which makes it very easy to drink.
M - Light to medium easy to session or pound.

Overall I am not sure what makes it a "hipster" beer but this is a very good APA. Still for 3 bucks a pop I could not see getting it again its from Connecticut why are their beers so expensive?

It comes in a hazy amber color with a frothy white head.

The aroma has grapefruit, a grainy quality, floral, grass, a bready sweetness.

The flavor follows with that grapefruit peel throughout. In the front orange peel and some bready sweetness with a nice bready malt in the middle. There's also this grainy quality along with a strong floral, slight pine, and grassy quality on the finish.

A good beer to introduce non craft beer drinkers into because of the easy drinking and familiar easy drinking qualities, but it still has some good strong bitterness with some sweetness and fruit qualities.

A. Rich golden color with a one finger head that lasts. The body is evident in the cloudy middle cylinder.

s. Honey, citrus, yeast - sweet smells that the hipster will enjoy

t. Citrus, honey, bread, wheat - if you like sweet tastes, as I do, this is a good match for you.

m. A bit too much carbonation brings the alcohol in the finish.

o. Outstanding beer. My beer was dated best by 12/2013, so it was 4 months past expire. Maybe it ages well.

A clean golden amber in color with 2 fingers of bright white head, excellent lacing and slow dissipation. Smells citrusy, grapefruit, caramel and bready. Flavor is fresh as hell.. Tastes like you're sucking on a hoppy bread .. Crisp mouthfeel with higher carbonation and a refreshing lighter medium body. Overall this is a wonderful pale ale.. Wish we got it here in nj, I'd make this a summer staple.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 9/27/2013. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, floral, grass, bread, cracker, light caramel, light pine, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of citrus/earthy hops and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, citrus rind, pine, floral, grass, bread, cracker, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of earthy pine/floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, citrus rind, pine, floral, grass, bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of citrus/earthy hop and pale malt flavors; with a crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice pale ale. Good balance and robustness of citrus/earthy hops and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Appearance: slightly hazy golden / light amber with a medium sized white head. Very nice looking lacing.

Aroma: malty, fruity, notes of citrus. Refreshing, yet a bit too delicate. Was expecting something more intense tbh.

Taste: mostly citrus, resin and grapefruit. Also a bit floral, with some pine notes in the back. Nice malty base. Pineapple finish. Medium, grassy bitterness.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation.

Overall: Very enjoyable, yet a bit "standard" pale ale I guess. Would be better if the ABV was lower, like 4,5%. Still, worth recommending.
