Hipster Ale is a nice, hazy amber color, if you decide to pour it into a glass. A top blanket of off-white froth hangs as it clings to the glass. The aroma is super inviting, with hints of granny smith apple and other fruit esters, as well as graham cracker crust. After a sip, it's revealed to be much hoppier than the aroma suggests, a bit more than your typical APA. It does have a good toasty malt backbone too though... Ultimately I found this to be one of the better, more enjoyable APA's I've had in a while, and would definitely recommend it and buy it again.

Served from a 12oz can into a Smutty pint glass.
Appearance- Hazy orange color with a great head retention and lacing.
Smell- Sweet with a weird plastic aroma and mild citrus fruits. Smells like an orangey adjunct lager.
Taste- Cirtus up front, but that plasticy taste is still there, though light. Mild hop presence with some bitterness at the end.
Mouthfeel- Well carbonated and easy to drink. Decent body. Maybe a little too carbonated.
Overall- The aroma kills this beer. It seeps into the taste as well, which is unfortunate, because if that plastic taste wasn't there, it would be a decent beer.

Illegible dating on bottom of can.
A - Pale golden body, hazed, voluminous white head has good retention and lacing.
S/T - Hop forward, mostly herbal, grassy notes, lemon sweetness, pale cracker like malt. Some pine and floral tastes in the finish.
M - Light to medium body, high carbonation, consistency stays smooth, finishes mostly dry with a moderate lingering bitterness.
O - Nice little pale ale. Easily drinkable, crisp, dry, refreshing.

The reasoning behind buying this beer was about 50% comical value and 50% thinking it was going to be good. Rang up for around 3 bucks. Poured into a pint glass.
A&S: Very big head, poured with medium vigor and it overflowed on me, leaving still over two fingers of head semi-foamy off-white head, retains in a nice layer. A network of bubbly lacing is left behind on the glass. Lively translucent orange colored beer. The smell is pretty subdued but includes mostly floral hops and some hints of citrus.
T&M: Even liking a lot of bitter beers, I would say this one is too much. The bitterness not only takes command of the finish, but pretty much is overpowering throughout this brew. Somewhat of a malty backbone but again can't really get past the bitterness. Carbonation is very high and body is medium.
Overall: I thought it was OK. Out of the small sample of evil twin stuff I have consumed, I would say it is by far my least favorite. My gf has a great taste for craft beers and didn't even want to finish hers, so by no means is this a crowd pleaser.
