Poured from a bomber into a Prairie Teku Glass.
Appearance: A large, loose white head shows off how effervescent it is. Head dissipates quickly and leaves behind no lacing. Beer is a cloudy mix between peach and orange/red, it looks like I'd expect a blueberry beer to look.
Smell: Lots of lemon, that classic berliner weisse sour wheat smell comes through too. Maybe just a hint of blueberry.
Taste: Nothing to complain about here. It tastes like a solid berliner weisse. Tart, fruity, with a touch of the sweet wheat malt coming through on the finish. Nothing out of this world, but still fantastic.
Mouthfeel: Very carbonated, like any good berliner weisse. Prickly and effervescent as ever.
Overall: This is a berliner weisse alright, continuing to remind me why it's one of my favorite sour styles. So very refreshing. Thrilled to finally get a chance to try this one, although I have to admit I might be more thrilled to have that amazing label included in my collection.
