22oz bottle into snifter. Thanks Russell!
A: Pours a hazy pink grapefruit color with a thick, fluffy, and frothy white head that slowly faded into a softy and fuzzy collar.
S: Yeast dominates with dry and earthy notes of doughy Belgian yeast followed by tart scents of lemon and juicy blueberries.
T: Blueberry flavor is jam-like and sweet and it mixes well with the doughy yeast to create a blueberry bread type flavor. Lemony citrus is lighty tart and lingering. The finish is sweet and slightly medicinal, and the aftertaste is tart with flavors of white grapefruit, raspberry, and lemon zest.
M: Very ample soft carbonation froths up on my palate over the medium-full body and slick, drying yet lightly greasy mouthfeel.
O: A refreshing and quaffable Berliner with a great dose of blueberry. Not the most dominating blueberry beer out there, but this is quite good.
