A: deep gold and hazed; pillar of white head a few fingers high (watch yer pour - this is a heady beer); laces and motes down the sides
S: bright fruits, citric and tropical; oak white wine barrels; mild brett aromas throughout
T: the hops and brett work with the malt to bring some suggestions of pale fruits and dry, dank funkiness; slightly woody
M: light and crisp; fuzzy and fizzy; modest bitterness; drying finish with brett written all over it
O: there's something distinct about IPAs with brett done right, and I suppose there will be detractors, but I enjoy the balance struck between hops (in this case, Nelson Sauvin) and brett and pale malts. In this beer, balance is good term, and all the elements of the ale mesh together very smoothly. Sister ales, Femme Fatale Brett and Femme Fatale Yuzu Pale, are notable as well.

A 22 fl. oz. bomber with no clear bottled on or best before date. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A lightly hazy golden colour with a big three finger white head that had decent retention and left some nice lacing.
Aroma: Lots of tropical fruit, apricot, peach, pineapple, grape, citrus peel, grapefruit, funk, brett, and a hint of leather.
Taste: Light sour and tart, lightly bitter, citrusy, grapefruit zest, grape, green apple, funky, brett, and leather.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation.
Overall: Quite nice as the fruitiness balanced out the brett.

22 oz. Bomber
Poured into a tulip a cloudy dark yellow/orangy color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, hoppy, yeasty, funky, with some licorice. The taste is pretty nice, malty, yeasty, hoppy, nice funkyness, with some licorice. Medium body, ABV is hidden nicely. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

Bottle: Poured a hazy blonde color ale with a super large white foamy head with excellent retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry Brett notes with some light dry floral hoppy notes and some vinous notes is quite nice. Taste is a mix of super dry Bretty notes with nice dry floral Nelson Sauvin hops notes with a vinous finish. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Quite dry as a beer but very nice level of complexity.

pours an unfiltered, murky peach with a large head. nose; band-aidy yeast/brett, & grassy hops. taste; white bready malt, brett, citrus hops, tangerine pulp, & lemongrass. medium carbonation & mouthfeel. i'm not a brett fan, but there's enough juice here to subdue it. a brett ipa... odd. this is certainly more of a saison or belgian style than an ipa.

Sampled at a tasting. Pale yellow pour, hazy, with a white head. Smells of brett, farmhouse funk, peaches. Tastes like brett, aspirin, funk. Dry, with a medium body.

Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is really heavy on the brett, covers everything else. Taste is more fruity but still has intense brett character. Body is medium and well carbonated. Not bad but the brett character is too intense.

Pours a golden straw in color with what appears to be a touch of chill haze. Lots of voluminous, almost soapy white head that leaves tons of lacing. Intriguing aroma, slightly oaky, grainy, and a touch tart. Taste is heavier on the funk and but maintains the grainy notes. Decent mouthfeel with a light-medium body and medium-high carbonation. Overall quite an interesting beer but I didn't enjoy it as much as I had expected.

Blech! All kinds of ropey horse blanket and overdone phenolic spice it's kind of vomitous and I don't know what the purpose here is. Fatale? Easily!!!
