a well made beer, but a let down by any consideration given the brewers behind it. a hazy but sunny colored liquid with a robust snow white head. aromas of green leaves, generic french saison yeast, and a very herbal yeast complexion. not much going on to distinguish itself in terms of flavor. white wheat malt and a generic saison yeast are the main contributors. a curious herbal finish, and a little sweetness, but theres not a whole lot making this unique, and for the breweries involved, i am let down big time. plenty drinkable, well bubbly, and fuller medium bodied, refreshing and well made, but less exciting that it should have been. utterly forgettable, and as such, painfully overpriced.

Bottle shared by jayhawk73. Thanks Jeff.

The beer is cloudy and orange hued with a fizzy white head. The aroma brings grain, earth, some tart fruit, perhaps lemon, alcohol. Grain and bread soaked in alcohol. Bready booze and lacking in funk / farmhouse character. A bit sharp on the palate. Not one of the better offerings from Evil Twin.

22oz bomber picked up at the Northbridge Pig. Poured into a snifter...

A: Golden, with an orange hue; two fingers of fizzy, white head manages decent retention, leaving few strands of lace.

S: White grape; pear; sugary malt; light phenols.

T: White bread crust malt; white grape; pepper; a bit tart on the end; rustic quality on the finish.

M: Medium-bodied; high carbonation... pretty lively.

O: A nice brew; not much "farmhouse" character, though... more of a blend of Belgian pale / blonde / saison; refreshing, though!

A cloudy orange in color with 3 fingers of foamy white head, slow dissipation and nice amount of lacing. Aroma of lemons, orange, candy, very fruity! The flavor profile is sweet and subtle fruit notes (strawberry) with a very yummy bready character.
Medium in body with high carbonation gives it a very light feel.
This is a very enjoyable saison and honestly perfect for a night like tonight where it's been in the 50's and its 70 outside!

Poured into a 3 Monts tulip. Pours a burnished golden amber with a three finger white head that dissipated slowly leaving heavy lacing. Spicy aroma of apple and light stone fruit, coriander, Belgian yeast, slightl mineral. Flavor is subdued light fruit (apple and peach), light citrus, hints of wild yeast, semi-dry with faint sweetness in the start, finishing with an herbal bitterness and rather dry. Light bodied with peppery active carbonation. The flavor is quite understated and is somewhat overbalanced by the the herbal bitterness in the middle and end. The very light flavors are pleasant and appropriate for a light farmhouse ale, but leave me wishing for some more robust flavoring. A quiet and perhaps too subdued saison. Glad I tried it, but do not need to seek it out again.
