Came across this one in Charleston, SC. Brewed at Westbrook I believe. Poured into Spieglau IPA glass. Pours a murky yellow, thick sticky head, good lacing. Great citrus smell, lemon peel, pine, sweet grass. Taste is strong hop bitterness up front, fresh fruit, floral, and strong grassy aftertaste. Mouthfeel is sticky, medium body, nice coating. Overall, a really solid IPA, great flavor, very drinkable. Ranks up there as one of the best I've ever had.

- Bot. 4/19/13. Consumed 9/30/13.

A: Peach orange coloring shows a heavy turbid nature and heavy showering of carbonation. A 2 inch parchment toned foamy head is strong in show as well the thick, spongy coating remaining for lace.

S: Pear-mango and fresh lemon. Pale grain sweetness, hint of grassiness, spicy golden hops, bright with a good awareness level. Hint of orange.

T: Grassy orange, flowery hops, good rate of bitterness with no noticeable slow down during the 5 month incubation. Pale dry grains, flowery coating with a touch of sour fruit.

M: Crisp carbonation, alkaline like feel, flowery coating with a light-medium body. Medium bitterness on the tongue.

O: Overall bright, orange-citrus flowery hops, still healthy and strong even after 5 months in the bottle. Solid good.

Pours a slightly hazy gold with quick settling white head; thin streaks of lace down the glass. Smell: like sniffing a whole grapefruit, then sweetly floral, with white grapes in the back. Taste: hop blast with a light malt backing...grapefruit rind, herbal towards pine, black pepper and light honey-ish sweetness in the finish. Medium bodied from prickly carbonation, with oily citrus peel lingering after the sip. Bottled 7/25/13. Nice hop fix.

Such an excellent beer. Lordy Poured this a touch warm, but that hurt it not. Has a large, foamy, frothy, sudsy, off-white head that settled to a thin, spotty cover after a bit and lots of lace. Color is a very slightly hazy pale gold yellow with some tiny bubble trails. Aroma is very aromatic, was apparent upon bottle opening, is more resin than grapefruit with enough malt to balance and round it out. Flavor's like nose, has just enough sweetness to temper the heady bitterness. Body/carbonation are great plus it has some chewiness that I really like. Finish is like flavor, stays true all the way slowly tapers. Killer beer..

A - golden and straw colors, a bit of a honey tint.
S - Grapefruit, citrus and pine.
T - Similar as the smell with grapefruit up front. Pineapple and citrus fruit. Pine is mixed in as well.
M - Medium body and medium carbonation. Finishes crisp and bright.
O - Hops tasting mighty nice. This is a good four pack.

Pours gold with a large head.
Nose shows piny, resinous hops along with some spicy notes. Also some very clean malt underneath.
Very clean flavours too, a little malt amongst the powerful piny, resinous and grapefruit-like hops. Finishes with a powerful, sharp bitterness.
Great moderate carbonation.
