Poured into a Warsteiner pokal. Pours a hazy light golden amber with a fine one finger white head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of lemon, grapefruit, light bready malt and a hint of citrus hops. Flavor follows with light lemon, grapefruit, light stone fruit in a nice bready malt body. Mild grassy hops and citrus rind in the finish. Great medium to full creamy body, quite a nice texture for a wit. Possibly leans more towards an American pale ale, but keeps enough of the wit character to pass. I could have scored this lower for its deviation from a true wit, but I liked this quite a bit and scored mostly on enjoyment and quality. Inexplicably expensive for one of the Westbrook brewed Evil Twin productions, but glad I tried it.

On tap at Torst
A_Hazy orange hue with a thick off white cap. Beautiful lacing
S_Lemon peel, Clove and a hint of some funk
T_Slightly sweet wheat flavours followed by an array of banana, apple and pear. Finish is nicely bitter with a lingering of barnyard.
M_medium bodied with a stinging up front carbonation. Back end manages to be a little more viscous than I expected.
O_ The Brett adds enough to make it interesting without overpowering the whole affair. You still know you are drinking a well crafted wit.

A: The beer is very hazy yellowish orange in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly died down, leaving delicate lacing on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose - grapefruit seems to stand out in particular - along with some hints of funk.
T: The taste has flavors of grapefruit with notes of orange peels: spicy notes of coriander are present in the finish and linger through the aftertaste. There is a light amount of bitterness; little if any sourness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is interesting and tastes like a hybrid between a hoppy pale ale and a witbier. It is quite drinkable.

Poured out as a hazy yellow color with a nice looking white head on top. The retention was very minimal and didn't have any lacing. The smell of the beer was bright and citrusy with hints of the oak in the mix. The taste has a subtle amount of sourness to it with some lemon zest in there as well. The mouthfeel of the beer was light and refreshing for the time of year. Overall it's was a decent brew, not one I'd need to seek out again though.
