Poured from a bottle into a Goose Island tulip. Beautiful pour. The beer is very hazy and light orange in color with a massive, majestic white head that reduces down to some big, snowdrift-like clumps of lacing. The nose is really nice. Lots of pineapple and orange and a tart brett-like sour note.

Light-medium body with a nice bitter and tart flavor profile. There's a light cracker-like graininess up front and a quick rush of fresh, citrusy hop bitterness. Flavors include oranges, lemons, and grapefruit. Arriving with the bitterness and carrying through the finish is a definite sour note as well. The sour note goes well with the fruit flavors and gives the impression of orange pith and lemon zest. It's subtle and not enough to disturb the enjoyability, but enough to make one take note. Dry, tart finish lingers nicely.

This is the third ``sour IPA'' I've enjoyed (Anchorage's Bitter Monk is definitely one worth seeking out). I hope to see more beers like this in the future. The combination of bitter and sour with just enough malt sweetness to hold it together is an intriguing and refreshing combination.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high off white head that died down but never completely faded away, leaving a thin head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of orange and tangerine citrus zest are present in the nose along with notes of sourness from the brett.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste starts out with flavors of zested yuzu citrus, which are followed by notes of sourness towards the middle of the taste. A light to moderate amount of hop bitterness is present.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this beer to have a nice balance between the yuzu fruit and brett as you can smell and taste both of them in nearly equal proportions.

22 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden orange with a big meringue white head that retains and laces the glass.

The aroma is tropical fruits with some musty funk and some sharp brett.

The flavor is sweet wheaty malts with tropical fruit and a musty yeasty hoppiness with a bit of brett. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with sharp carbonation.

Overall, a nice brett ipa with some unique tropical fruit from the yuzu.

Quite pretty straw-gold colored smoothly hazy beer with a nice soft foam white pile atop. I haven't brought it in for a close smell yet, but it's already wafting fruity, juicy aromas my way. Aroma is loaded with pleasant stinky fruit and flowers. Yuzu seems to be fitting its description that I looked up well. Sweet candy lemon, red grapefruit, lime, and tangerine/tangelo. Tropical funk and earthy floral aromas mixed in. Light simple pale bread dough malt smoothly underneath. Intoxicatingly tantalizing aroma... Taste is sweet, perky, and evenly bitter. Tropical kind of citrus, brisk pine, and earthy, juicy, whacky fruit. Lime, citrus skins and pulp. Acidic kind of bitterness kicks in at the finish after a not overwhelming surge of sweetness. Mouthfeel is slick and soft with spicy carbonation. Smacky. Easy to drink and interesting. I think I would like yuzu fruit a lot. Very nice beer here.
