Pours a light, yellowish orange. Hazy, cloudy liquid. Medium to medium-large head, white. Good lacing, retention, bubbles, etc. Pretty similar to my memories of the other versions of Femme Fatale that I've tried. Nice level of citrus peel in the aroma. The yuzu is prominent but doesn't dominate. I can still smell some simply sweet, fresh grain notes and pleasant hoppiness. Hops probably have some citrus to them but also lend a more floral aroma with a little bit of pine. Mild fruity brett flavors - peaches, plums, etc. It's always hard to describe a clean brett aroma but it's there. That punchy yuzu citrus is a great centerpiece for this beer. The taste starts lightly sweet before more bitter flavors start popping in. The hops/yuzu bring a mix of citrus with some grassiness, though the citrus is unsurprisingly stronger. Bitterness is firm but not over the top. Finishes dry and clean. Normal carbonation. Pretty light feel. Easy to drink. Refreshing beer. I've been a big fan of the Femme Fatale line and this one lives up to its predecessors. The brett is clean and fruity and dries the beer out nicely, which gives the hops and yuzu more room to shine. Very well made. Evil Twin and Westbrook deserve a lot of credit, even if I wished the bottle carried a lower price tag.

1 PT. 6 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in a snifter
A - It is a gold, almost amber, color. There is a slight haze to it. On top sits several inches of fluffy white head with good lacing.
S - Now I dig the smell. I get some orange, grapefruit, and funk with a little tartness.
T - This beer starts out sweet and fruity. Then immediately gives way to some bitterness. After that I taste orange and grapefruit with a pine finish. There is a musty taste through the middle into the finish as well. This beer has a lot going on, and it is all good.
M - Champagne like effervescence and body.
O - I like it. I had no idea what yuzu was or tasted like, but it works for me. I love funky IPA's.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy bright gold color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lime, orange zest, lemon peel, hay, straw, grass, light pine, musty funk, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Incredible aromas with awesome complexity and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, hops, and yuzu fruit notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lime, orange zest, lemon peel, hay, straw, grass, light pine, light pepper, musty funk, bread and herbal/yeast earthiness. Fair amount of earthy yeast spice/pine hop bitterness on the finish with some slight earthy tartness; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lime, orange zest, lemon peel, hay, straw, grass, light pine, light pepper, funk, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, hops, and yuzu fruit flavors; with a crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an awesome fruited brett IPA. All around great complexity and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, hops, and yuzu fruit flavors; and extremely smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.
