I have drunk many fine beer, this is not one, but this one has its place. If you are looking for a weisbier that has the built in lemon taste then this is it. Not my type, bit if you like to add lemon to your wheat beer then this would be a good choice. I think it would go well with fried foods.

Decent weizen, somewhat of a small head on this. Cloudy golden color with explosive fine carbonation and abundant stick lacing. Sweet aroma, bread, bananas, taste is same and palate is sticky and sweet. Good but still leans towards being a little too sugary.

50cl bottle, best by 10/2010
5% ABV
A- the head was ok, dissipated quickly leaving a murky yellow/tan. poor lacing.
S- Cloves, Banana, Cinnamon, with Citrus tones
T- follows the smell with less clove/cinnamon/spicy flavors. Pleasant.
M- leaves a little coating in the mouth, moderate-heavy carbonation. I like it.
D- A good, middle of the road Hefe. Nothing more, nothing less.

Light orange color, slightly veiled. Creamy and abundant foam.
In the smell a light banana, phenolic, quite light, too.
Same notes in the taste, with wheat and again light phenolic. Refreshing and thirst quenching, thank to a bit of citric note.
Avrage weizen, no defect, but also no particular notes.

Sampled on-tap at Harveys in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
This weizen poured a cloudy, yellow-brown color with creamy, white foam that settled. The smell was of citrus and light banana. The taste was lightly malty (wheat malt) and tangy, tart citrus with a hint of yeast in the finish. The mouthfeel was fairly dry overall, with medium-light body and moderate carbonation. The finish was tart and very dry. This was an OK hefeweizen, but a little thin and a bit tart and light on the esters and phenols.

Pours a cloudy orange color, with a big white head that that left nice lacing. There is also too much noticable carbonation which I find to be concerning. The smell is of citrus but is very faint. The taste is slightly citrusy, but mostly it tastes like overly carbonated water. The mouthfeel is thin for a hefe, and is dominated by carbonation. Overall, this is the worst hefe I've ever had. Not only is it highly overcarbonated, but it is almost flavorless.
