So I really hope I like this as they sell it in big massive barrels. I never heard of this before, but then I have never lived much in Germany, so it's probably why.
I like the red colour of the can, and the head of the beer seems great. And mega smooth, not too many big bubbles. Not a fan of the aroma however, which I cannot really detect a huge amount.
Wooo...beautiful mega dry German hops. Reminds me of Radeberger. Feel is let down a little by the after taste. But it's an amazing beer for sure. I think I will drink more of this and re-review, next to Krombacher and Redeberger. But initial impressions are that the hops are a little too flowery, they need more dryness ; ) The malt is sweet, a little too much, however impressive still. And the best value beer that I have had for ages. Maybe the best value beer that I have tried ever. This is one of the cheapest beers in the place where I bought it ; ) So extra overall marks for sure.

Bought 500ml can for about $1. Pours a beautiful yellow hue with a picture perfect head. Malty aroma and nice medium mouthfeel. Dry finish. I could drink these all day (and probably not get a buzz). One of the better lagers I’ve had, oddly enough. Definitely preferred to similar offerings from Budweiser, Coors, and any Korean macro.

500mL can. Brew date: Mar. 22, 2011; best by Mar. 22, 2012. 5.0% ABV, 11.3 degrees Plato.
Contract brewed for Kaufland grocery stores in Eastern Europe.
Appearance: Light yellow color, crystal clear. About one finger of off-white dense foam with decent retention. Left one ring, then small bits of lacing.
Smell: Very light floral and grassy notes, sweet malt.
Taste: Mildly bitter, can't place the type of hops. A hint of malt sweetness, but mostly hops.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied, with plenty of carbonation. The bitterness lingers in the aftertaste, which is dry.
Overall: Not a bad lager. I would have it again. Tastes like it would be refreshing on a hot afternoon.
