First of all, big props to Jason and Todd for putting this directory together. I never would have found Eddie's without a resource like this, so thank you.
I was on my way north to the UP and wanted to stop at the Cannery to see if she possibly had any KBS left. Well she didn't. She had some Breakfast Stout from Founders on the shelf, but this is another review. She told me that the place next store had KBS if I wanted one to drink, so I said sure, and hopped over.
WOW, he's got the beer. 12 taps of local goodies from all over Wisconsin, and a big, impressive, well thought collection of craft in bottles. Very impressive. Not only did they have the KBS I was thirsting for, they had Double Trouble and Breakfast Stout. Good start in my book.
It's worth the short drive off the 151, as this is a cool establishment in an old historic building in a nice quaint downtown area.

Stopped in here with some friends recently. While at dinner my friend told me we were heading here. I asked what kind of place it was. He tells me just some armpit dive bar. So I had very low expectations heading in.
Step through the door at Eddie's and cue angelic music...after picking my jaw up off the floor I immediately scream at my buddy for his horrible mislead. Dive bar? This place would be in the top 5 in all of Milwaukee's beer bars. 100 bottles and close to 20 taps. Wow! A full list of Octoberfest and pumpkin beers for the season. My eyes did a quick scan and my sour radar went off as I saw NG Cranbic on tap. Score! I bought a round for everyone in my group and got to work on my pint. Sitting quietly plotting my next beer move like a stone cold killer.
The glassware was clean and the service was prompt and friendly. The place itself is no more than your basic sports bar but atmosphere don't mean squat to me when your putting up beer numbers like this.
Overall a flat out oasis in an area I would have never expected. If you are on your way in or out of Madison you owe it to your self to stop here.
