The top-fermented wheat beer is specially brewed to obtain a tasty but also pungent wheat beer. This special type of brewing allows a particularly full and also very tasty wheat beer. The amber color comes through special malt, which also brings a caramel-like character and other taste facets in the beer.
The cloudiness receives this Benedictine wheat beer by the fine yeast , which means an important flavor carrier for this beer type. This top-fermented yeast gives the wheat beer a very fruity note that is even reminiscent of bananas. A special taste experience is the sweetness, which is to enter into a synergy with the fine dry aroma of the hop.

From a 500cl can, poured in a Benediktiner glass. Generous in foam 3-4 finger white head. Hazy amber colour. Small pretty bubbles of carbonation.
Bread smell. Some fruity sweetness in there as well. Banana, apricot.
Taste surprises, a lttle bit of dry acidity. Quite persistent.
Not the best and smoothest Weissen but very drinkable.

1 PT 0.9 FL. OZ. can
Served in a weizen glass
This beer pours hazy, amber color and is topped with a huge, creamy, beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
Hints of banana and clove. I don't know if it's faded, there is not much to begin with.
A little more banana and clove flavor in the taste. Still underwhelming.
Medium bodied with a semi dry finish
Average at best

Great beer. Very tasty. Banana, clove, very light malt, good smooth wheat flavor. Nice amber color, slight carbonation. Nice sweet ending. A very well rounded weissbier!

Solid but nothing special. Smell and taste needed a bit more oomph. A bit orange, banana and coriander in the taste saves it from a complete “also ran”.

Smells like cloves, then some ripe bananas. I taste lots of bubblegum, and a bit of lemon, all sitting on top of dry bread dough. Finish is spicy and big on carbonation, lightly bitter. Fruity and sweet, but not overly, it all blends well
This is easy drinking Summer stuff. Like a High Life with no off flavor and added "on flavor"

Not big on wheat beer, but this was very good. Had a glass in Innsbruck, Austria while on tour in Europe. Many new beer treats!
