Everything I'm looking for in an amber ale. Nice malty start and good hoppy bite without emulating an IPA.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a murky reddish brown color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades very fast leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is light overall, consisting of some lightly toasted malt smells as well as some caramel and molasses. Along with these smells comes a light dark fruit smell of cherry and raisin as well.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweeter caramel flavor mixed with a toasted malt taste. Along with these tastes comes a touch of a nuttiness as well as a little bit of brown sugar. As the taste advances the sweeter tastes increase, all while some herbal hop and grass tastes come to the tongue. Along with a touch of wood, one is left with a caramel/dark sugar sweet, but nice and very easy drinking and balanced amber taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel -The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with an average carbonation level. Overall the feel is excellent for the flavors and the abv and makes for an easy sipper.
Overall – A very good amber brew with a nice sweet base that is balanced by a lighter hop and decent roast. Quite easy drinking and balanced!!

Looks more like a brown ale to me, tan medium head and mostly clear brown color. Smell is predominately malt, Carmel and toast. Taste is surprisingly balanced, enough west coast hops to even out the heavier malts. You would never guess since it doesn’t come out in the aroma. It’s nice. Cheers

Pours out hazy brown with a tan head. Retention is moderate as well as lacing.
The nose is grainy and has a caramel sweetness to it. Also picking up faint hops.
The taste has some caramel sweetness up front and a grainy finish. Somewhat bland.
The mouthfeel is a bit watery. Carbonation is low and could stand to be a tad higher.
