Had on tap at Major Leauge Grill, I thought this was an IPA.

Reviewed from my cell phone notes.

Appearance-Burnt orange, pretty dark. One finger off white head with nice retention and lacing.

Smell-Big hop aroma. Lemon, orange and some pear. Also some nice pine and earthy notes.

Taste-Pretty much follows the nose. Upfont a big hop burst with some pine and grass, in the middle some juicy citrus, and a nice malt backbone.

Mouthfeel-Highly carbonated. Medium bodied.

Overall-Crisp, and well crafted. Lots of flavor for I'm assuming an ABV around the range of 5%. I'm looking forward for some more No Label.

On tap at the Whip In.

The beer pours an orange-amber color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of floral notes, as well as some orange and biscuit malt. The flavor is similar. I get a lot of perfume and floral notes, as well as some white grapes and biscuit malt. A very fruity, floral pale ale. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

A friend brought me this back from Texas. 12oz. bottle into a Pizza Boy pint.

Pours a 1 finger foamy white head with moderate retention. Beer is a semi-clear dark mango. Lacing is patchy with good stick. Decent.

Nose is adjunts, rusty metal, a very mild citrus, and the slightest bit of floral hops. Not the best.

Opens lemon and citrus sweetness. Big malt body in the middle with some corn, wheat and cane sugar notes. This is as "BMC" as craft gets. More lemon sugar sweetness towards the end with again, the slightest hop bitterness at the finish. A mercifully clean aftertaste.

Light bodied with ample carbonation. Prickly and foamy in the mouth and goes down watery and quenching. Clean finish with no aftertaste. Pretty drinkable.

This beer's not terrible but its certainly not what I'd expect from a craft brewery doing a pale ale. The hop presence is near non-existent and the malt body almost completely takes this one over. Very one dimensional, and not in a good way. Drinkable and I'd reach for this on a scorching, sunny day, but that's about it.

Had this on-tap at Rockwell Tavern in a 14oz shaker pint. Fairly clear, light copper color with a nice cap of creamy head. Nice retention and lace.

Impressively unique nose to this! Hops are tropical/floral and bright against a semi-sweet caramely malt base. Yeast almost takes on a nutty tone and adds a touch of fruit. Interesting.

This one tastes more like a hopped up amber than a pale to me. Malt is quite sweet and has a toasty quality to it that is accentuated by a big bittering finish. Not nearly tongue-scraping, but its pretty hoppy. The up front sweetness and big hoppy finish dont play well with each other...odd hop flavors and prominent yeast esters make this one kind of a mess. Interesting, but I dont want to order another one. Nice aromas and flavor that doesnt follow suit has been my experiences with No Label thus far, Id like to see them succeed, being local, but they need to clean up these offerings before they start bottling/canning their product.
