This hefeweizen poured up with little head. Maybe a finger or so, light lacing.
The smell is tough. I found a hard time defining what I was smelling. Somewhere between straw and citrus. Maybe?
Taste was ok. I am not a huge fan of Hefes but it was drinkable. I picked up on some citrus especially in the finish.
Mouth feel was not too thin, I would call it middle of the road.
Overall I give this about a 3.25. As hefeweizens go it is ok. I can't gig it too bad just because I don't like Hefes. Not sure how it ended up at the house, but since its here I will finish it all.

I'm a fan of Hefs. This is decent beer.
While it wasn't great it also wasn't bad. I wouldn't turn one down, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to order it again either. The mouthfeel was a bit on the thin side, but the carbonation level was very pleasant. I think the thing that kept this beer from stepping up to the next level for me was that the citrus notes usually present in this style of beer, seemed to land a little more on the sour side than most Hefeweizens.

Pours light copper color with a heavy head. Nice lacing on the side of the glass. Cloudy like a hefeweizen should be. Strong odor, yeasty with coriander and orange peel. Strong malty taste with heavy coriander and orange peel. Good beer if you are looking for a hefe, but I don't drink the style anymore. Definitely not as good as your German hefes. Wouldn't seek out the beer to buy but would purchase at a restaurant if there were no hoppier beers.

Poured into Live Oak Stange.
A - Pale, cloudy straw. Kind of transparent for a wheat beer. Almost no head and very little lacing.
S - Strong on the banana notes. Also get a little hint of vanilla.
T - The banana notes from the nose carry over into the flavor as well. Citrus and clove notes are less pronounced. Pleasent, but would like a little more.
M - Very light mouthfeel, and could use a little more bite.
O - A little torn with this one. It's not the best Hefeweizen I've had, but it's probably one of the best bottled Hefeweizen's I've had. A good summer beer and one I will buy again.
