The perfect marriage between hops, malted barley and espresso. Java Sutra exudes a aroma coffee drinkers will love, while the caramel and roasted malts present a flavor everyone can enjoy. This amazing beer is brewed with Tap & Mallet House Roast coffee beans provided by Boulder Coffee. Position yourself for the taste explosion.

Live review. Hung with these guys at TAP last year, cool cats. Gonna review this as if there was a cat. for Coffee Porter, as I believe this category is too broad.
A finger of light brown foam quickly disappears and leaves not much more than floating amoebae and a thin ring to top this reddish brown brew.
Coffee and caramel the main aromas, with some spicy alcohol hints and light tart yeasty going on as well. Not a strong smell, but pleasant.
Blessedly, the taste is much stronger and livelier. Coffee and a little bit of chocolate start things, with a touch of tart and some righteous dark caramel joining the party. Herbal bitter hop and roasty goodness are the supporting cast, wonderfully. The sip ends with the sweet hanging in but the more bitter notes keeping things interesting. Delicious.
Well attenuated, easy drinking, very low carb., a clean flavor profile, with an excellent finish. Some might say this is a bit thin, but for these flavors the lightness of this is perfect.
Quite a wonderful beer from three quite wonderful guys who brew some fantastic stuff right here in NYState. It's been my pleasure sending their beers all over this country. Try this, you'll love it.

Undated bomber at 45 degrees into shaker
Aroma coffee, light roasted malt, chocolate
Head average (3.5 cm, aggressive pour), light brown, creamy with rocks, diminishing to a ring of mountain silhouettes and rocky layer
Lacing good – partial rings of tiny bubbles
Body dark brown, opaque
Flavor weak and muddled – no coffee coming through; no hops, no alcohol, no diacetyl. Update: a couple of minutes after finishing a drink, the coffee finally comes through.
Palate light to medium, watery, lively carbonation
Appearance 4, Aroma 4, Flavor 3, Palate 3.5, Overall 3.5
