Paid $3.19 for the single from Halftime beverage.

A - Wow explosive carbonation on this one a solid 2+ inches of head slightly opaque in color. Beer is a slightly hazy brown bear color fed by a ton of carbonation bubbles.
S - Slightly hoppy malts more citrus in the bottle neck than in the glass. Has a distinct spicy malt smell which I assume is from the oatmeal. Not as spicy as rye but fairly strong.
T - Well at 64 IBU's it does have a fairly strong hop bite which is quickly taken over by some smooth malts which is pretty excellent it does a great job in cutting the hop bitterness edge. Finish has an almost minty hop profile I have not experienced much. Great experimental.
M - Bold drink has a solid medium body. Somewhat session able.

Overall I have never had such a minty hop tasting beverage before. Worth picking up and I may try their future stuff if they continue to bottle 12oz bottles of their 22oz offerings.

Head is a weak manilla color. The body looks to be a burnt amber color. Light lacing.

Mmm, pine, citrus bouquet with flowers. Liking this one.

Juicy malt and citrus up front. A little spice kicks in for the segue, mixing with a little grainy rye flavor. Then it's off to the pine and citrus.

Medium bodied. Dry finish

12oz bottle poured into a Stella tulip glass. I've never had an Oatmeal Red Ale before, so was too curious and had to give this bugger a try.

AP: Medium amber colour with soft red hues. Can see the shadows of my fingers on the other side of the glass, so it's not thick or hazy. 3/4" fluffy white head that dissipates down to 1/4" with solid lacing on the glass.
AR: Toasted bread and caramel up front with sweet citrusy hops right behind. Good opening aromas on this. Getting a little sticky toffee as well. The hops are orange mostly with pink grapefruit and lemon along with resiny pine. I'm digging the aroma on this.
T: The malt tastes match the aroma with toast and caramel, but I also get stone ground cracker as well. While the orange aroma was strongest, in the flavour the grapefruit is the main player, though the orange is right behind it. The pine also comes into play to mix with the citrus and malts. In between the initial malt flavours and hops I get a hint of oatmeal cookie, nothing sweet but I it reminds me of the taste of oatmeal cookie.
M: The oatmeal does add a little body to this, but not much as it's medium bodied at best. It does add a smoothness and creaminess though that's enjoyable. Moderately carbonated and a slightly dry finish.
OV: This is an interesting brew and worth a try. Nice aromas, solid flavours and a decent mouthfeel. I would have this again, it's quite enjoyable.

Bomber from the grocery into a nonic pint, the beer itself is a ruby brown in color with a nice off-white head. The nose opens with juicy citrus hops through a malty foundation of caramel and toasted, fruity red malt. Medium in body with a nice oaty creaminess, moderately carbonated. The palate, similarly, features a moderately sweet start and notes of red malt and caramel cleaning up nicely amongst citrus and pine hops, imparting a lingering, balancing bitterness to the finish. This one turned out better than expected, worth a buy but not really a repeat.

Pours a mildly hazy brownish color with a bit of white lacing.

Smells of mild rye, citrus hops and pine.

Piney hop bitter and floral with some hemp character from the rye.

Medium body with a mild carbonation.

A good interesting ale, different, with a welcome rye character that makes it unique and worth trying.
