A: Pours a hazy medium golden yellow in color with light to moderate amounts of gentle visible carbonation along the surface of the beer and some faint apricot + burnt orange highlights. The beer has a half finger tall sudsy foamy white head that quickly reduces to a large mottled patch of medium thick film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of tropical/mango and citrus/orange along with some lighter notes of tropical/pineapple hops and caramel malts.

T: Upfront there is a light flavor of caramel malts with a light to moderate amount of sweetness which is quickly followed by the flavors from the hops - moderate amounts of tropical/mango and citrus/orange along with lighter flavors of tropical/pineapple and pine. Light to moderate amounts of bitterness which lingers for a moderate amount of time.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp with some hints of dryness in the finish.

O: The aroma of this beer was great when I first opened the beer though it did start to fade as the beer warmed up - unfortunately the flavor was not quite as intense and delicious as the smell. The alcohol was well hidden and the beer is pretty easy to drink.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has an orange.golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of pine, some citrus. Taste is the same as the aroma, alcohol is present, a bit of malts and melons, moderate bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Pours orange with a 1/4 inch white head. Hazy. Moderate carbonation. Thin lacing.

Aroma of pine, citrus, yeast. Hoppy.

Taste is yeasty, piney, grapefruity.

Full bodied, foamy mouthfeel. Dry finish.

12 oz. bottle poured into a tulip glass.

L---Hazy, golden color. Fluffy off-white head with good retention and excellent lacing.

S---Pine is in the forefront. Very hoppy.

T---Pine is obvious. Definitely resinous. There's some citrus & breadiness as well. Usually, I appreciate some malt flavor balancing a hoppy offering, but it doesn't work as well here.

F---Good carbonation. A little sticky, but not too much.

O---If only everything else followed through on its appearance....

Mediocre. Bland. Boring. Not much aroma or flavor, pine and citrus like? but not really. If this is your double, why bother? Not pleasant, and overall very poor effort. Now that I check, the brewery has mostly mediocre ratings. Really, why bother?
