Had this beer on tap at the brewery.

This is a good example of a hoppy Double IPA. It has a strong citrusy hop aroma with a light to moderate level of maltiness. This was not an exceptional Double IPA, but it was very drinkable and very solid.

Good Double IPA and worth a try.

A: Poured from a bottle to a tulip glass. Had a brownish color and a clear consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Decent lacing.

S: A good amount of hops, some citrus, and malt as well. Pretty standard.

T: Tasted of a high amount of hops, citrus (grapefruit, in particular), and a bit of malt as well. A bit too hops-centric (even for a DIPA), but still not a bad flavor.

M: A fairly well-carbonated beer with a bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

O: This is another beer that while competently made, it doesn't necessarily separate itself from the sea of DIPAs out there. Still, worth a look.
