This one may have been infected as the head was ridiculous and the flavor just didn't click. Didn't taste sour so I am not sure. Wasn't very good though. (153 characters)

Very nice fruity nose of papaya, tropical fruit, nectarines and then some vanilla. The flavor is a bad combination of peanut butter or peanut brittle and oranges. I get some citrus notes, a bit of pine bitterness and vanilla but I'm constantly reminded of peanut butter covered oranges. Notice there are no peanut butter covered oranges in your local food store, because it doesn't work. (388 characters)

Brewed and enjoyed for a great "no-shave" November cause, the Flat 12 brewers boldly go where no brewer has before- an American amber ale with cameo appearances of vanilla and Angel's Envy bourbon barrels.

Its brownish red hues cast deep mahogany low-light as it sheds a creamy lather of foam. Deep with toasted grain and slightly singed sweetness the nose is alive with a candied pecan scent. Its toasted sweetness is dry and almost buttery early on.

Settling onto the middle palate, the sweetness relaxes and the fruity center of the beer awakens with red apple, orange peel and white grapefruit. As the beer's caramels and succulent vanillas wrap around the fruit, a tandem of caramel apple and pistachio brittle pull forth.

Highly drinkable and semi-refreshing, the peps of bourbon introduce in finish with its own powdery oak texture, caramels and vanillans. Light spice from both toasted grain, charred oak and bourbon give the ale a unique cause for contemplation and exploration. (990 characters)
