Dropped by on a random weeknight a few months back when I was in town for work. The place touts itself as a cigar bar which it definitely had the appearance of. I dont do the whole cigar thing so I couldnt really comment on that. Inside is dark and cozy with ample seating spread around. We sat out back ontheir covered/enclosed patio. Big comfy chairs around fire pits provides a pretty nice feel to things. Service was prompt and courteous but she didnt seem to know much about the ample beer list (at least ample by Midland/Odessa standards). They dont advertise themsevles as a beer place so I dont really hold that against them.

The beer list is nothing that will floor you, but it is better than any place in Midland except for The Hemingway, which it is right on par with. Tap list was a few Texas beers (Shiner, Real Ale and St Arnolds) along with a mix of American micros including Sierra Nevada, Stone and Full Sail. Bottle list included a nice selection of your standard imports like Chimay and Lindemans along with a smattering of American craft.

Is this place a "Beer Destination", no. But in Midland, Texas it is about as good as you can get and it is a fun place to spend some time with friends as well.

I was in Midland for business and found this cigar lounge in downtown Midland. I arrived around 3 pm and was surprised to see an actual bar inside a cigar shop. They had several local draft brew and an impressive selection of bottles for only having two stand up coolers of beer. They had dogfish 120 and 90 minute, which shocked me. The bartender was very knowledgeable about both beer and cigars. They have a large number of cigars. If you are in Midland and want a nice place to relax with a great beer and cigar, this place is definitely worth checking out.
