New owners as of July 2013
This pub is instrumental in offering a variety of craft beers on a rotating schedule. The management is receptive to customer input on craft beers as well as food. They offer daily specials on food and beer. Mondays they offer half priced craft beers and half priced wings, which are some of the best in town. Other specials include fiesta night featuring mexican cuisine, pasta night featuring pasta entrees and specially priced wine, burger nights featuring $5.00 burgers and special pricing everyday on domestic beers, They also offer a Sunday brunch which offers breakfast foods with nice size portions and competitive prices. The working owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly.

Great little place. I would have not even known it was there had some friends not recommended it, as it is tucked away between a gym and some kind of store. Apparently other restauranteurs have tried the location and not done so well.
The interior feels small, as it's only a bar, a few tables, and a long, bone-shaped community table. The snug environment and community table, along with the half-kitsch dog decor made me feel right snug and friendly. Plenty of TVs around if you're trying to watch the game, but they don't get obtrusive.
Overall quality of the food was excellent. Every main dish and side I have tried has been tasty. The hot dogs and hamburgers seem average, but I haven't gotten around to trying them yet. Service was above-average, and the waitresses I have had are very knowledgeable of the beer selection.
Three of the four taps were the crowd-pleasing yellow fizzy stuff, but the bottle selection (about 35 and growing) was excellent, especially given the other restaurants in the area. Although you can tell they tried to stick with the dog theme for the beer selection (Old Leghumper, couple Dogfishhead brews, Smuttynose Old Brown Dog Ale, etc.) you can also easily tell that the owner is a craft beer lover. Why else would they have something like Bluegrass Jefferson's Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout or Ommegang Rare Vos? The food and beer are reasonably priced, with the dinner entrees going for around $10-15 and the beers $3-5.
Given the excellent service, beer selection, food, and prices, I will be making the trip to this quaint little establishment several times in the future. I can only hope that more beer enthusiasts of the area catch wind of it so the restaurant can take off and remain there for years.
