Got this from James at 33wine, was being generous and let me grab several bottles that they were running low on
A - Dark as night, thick and viscous. This poured extremely nice and was pulled straight from their temp controlled cellar at 55 degrees roughly. Served into a tulip and created an inch or so khaki beautiful foam head
S - The smell was delightful as I had been talking about blueprint coffee with the group I was with. It smelled very coffee forward with hints of Cocoa and vanilla
T - Taste was much the same, very coffee forward with hints of chocolate, cocoa, expresso, and some roast. This was one of my favorite non barrel aged coffee stouts if not at the top and that includes all the regs. This bested perennial sump from the night before.
M - This was incredibly rich and smooth with a full bodied feel that really left you wanting more. Extremely tasty, creamy, and filling. 2nd shift has started to progress and this beer really showcases their talent
O - Only 420 bottles produced or 35 cases. This is unique and something that needs to be widely produced. This is a one of a kind coffee forward stout and out of the bottle really left a lasting impression.
This was utterly fantastic

Poured into a tulip glass from a 750ml bottle.
Pours a deep dark black color with a nice oily consistency. Nice tall dark tan head that is about 1.5 inches and is pretty dense and creamy. It recedes very slowly and leaves some nice lacing.
Aroma is pretty exquisite. Notes of fresh roasted bean and freshly brewed espresso. Notes of chocolate and dark cocoa bitterness. Nice sweet milk chocolate with an earthy burnt note. The aroma has notes of pecans and some almonds as well.
Flavor is delicious with notes of sweet malty goodness and some dark fruits that are quickly overpowered by a nice deep roasted notes of coffee. Nice notes of dark chocolate are present with a nice underlying burnt note. There is a nice finishing sweetness from the based LSD that gives the brew a nice rounded palette. Pretty delicious coffee beer with a nice silky and oily full buddy.

Batch 2 with Karimikui coffee. 750 ml bottle poured into a snifter. Hint of ammonia in the nose-a little unpleasant. Pours dark brown/black with a quickly dissipating dark tan head. Taste is great-lots of deep roasty flavor, chocolate, fruity brightness from the coffee beans. Medium carbonation with robust mouthfeel that coats. Drink now if you have one. Really well done as usual.
