Not tart. tastes malty. Needs more peach. Needs more carbonation. Based on other beers I have had from 2nd shift this was a sub par attempt and I know this brewery can do way better. Didn't suck, but it was a huge disappointment

Pours a cloudy, straw color. 1/2 inch head of a white color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of strong fresh peach, bacterial funk, yeast, and a hint of alcohol. Fits the style of an American Wild Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a high carbonation level. There is also a noticeable tartness. Tastes of strong citrus, strong bacterial funk, yeast, hint of alcohol, and a hint of wheat. Overall, good appearance, not as tart as the blackberry, but a more distinct fruit flavor and aroma.

750ml bottle. Served in a snifter glass. Pours a lighter orange-copper body, one finger white head, fair retention, not much lacing. Smell is primarily light sulfur, mineral, light cereal grain, moderate peach skin, mild stone fruit sweetness. Flavour is a bit more mineral-forward than I'd like, a bit of sulfur comes out, but otherwise a nice cereal sweetness, light vinegar, a bit of vinous character all sits behind a fair bit of peach skin. Mouthfeel is medium-lighter bodied, good carbonation, a bit of mineral on the finish. I find Katy to have a bit of sulfur and astringency in general, and this is no exception. The peach is nice, though.
