Served this American IPA on tap, in a pint glass. Poured a very nice copper color, produced a thick creamy off white head, Excellent retention and excellent lacing left on the glass. The aroma was exceptional, boasting hoppy pine and citric grapefruit. Full bodied, this AIPA consisted of a foundation of malted grain, plenty of alcohol 9% as well as ample proportions of pine and grapefruit. Finishes dry, the alcohol warms you up. Well balanced, this is one of the best locally brewed beers (Missouri) that I have sampled. I will be back for more.

A - Pours a nice orange/amber hue with an off-white two finger head. Good lacing and retention.
S - Juicy citrus hops up front consisting of pineapple and grapefruit. There's some hop bitterness to it and a little sweetness on the edge.
T - A great mix of citrus hops and some pine along with a subtly sweet malty profile. The bitterness comes on halfway through and intensifies toward a medium bitter finish.
M - Medium bodied and medium carbonation. Easily drinkable and has a dry finish.
O - The Show Me State, well, showed me. They brew cocky.
