Notes/Commercial Description:
Brew Cocky is another IPA I came up with that is brewed with loads and loads of Falconers Flight hops that just explode in your face.

review #600

pours a deep copper, fairly clear, with about an inch or so of thick creamy head. tons of lacing and nice retention.

nice citrus bomb, with a domination of orange and sweet grapefruit. lighter hints of tangerine and pine resin.

still heavy on the citrus with more of an emphasis on the tangerine and pine resin. pungent and bitter with a faint sweetness. nice malty body. ABV is hidden well.

very full and thick. a bit of a mild carbonation but with a hint of bite.

quite good, a great DIPA. love everything about it

Poured from a 750ml bottle into an imperial pint. Thanks to BA redbird.

Lots and lots of wax on this bottle, took a little time to get open. This beer pours out a hazy amber color with a large head, great lacing, all that good stuff. The aroma is strong on piney hops and grapefruit, with some caramel malts in the back. The taste is aggressively bitter with strong piney and grapefruit hops at first at first, but tempered just a little bit by caramel malts that come in towards the end. There's some tropical aspects that peek in and out throughout the whole deal as well.

The mouthfeel is easily this beer's weak point, it feels like it could use quite a bit more carbonation to me, since it's got a fairly heavy mouthfeel. Overall, a solid double IPA (it's 9-9.5%, in what universe isn't that a double). Recommended if you like em' bitter.

Poured from the bottle a deep copper color with two fingers of thick off-white head. Plenty of sticky lacing followed.

Very hoppy aroma of grapefruit, pine and floral notes.

The taste was not quite the hop bomb of the aroma though there was a decent amount of grapefruit and pine. A nice amount of malts delivered a good balance. The 9% alcohol was well-hidden and added just a hint of warmth to the palate.

Medium bodied with a lighter carbonation.

This was a very nice NW-style IPA with the Falconer hops.
