Bottle pours into Spiegelau glass.
A: Dark copper with 2 fingers of off white head that reduces fairly slowly and leaves pretty decent lacing.
S: Aroma is fairly mild of pine, with lingering citrus. There isn't an explosive aroma, but it is certainly very well balanced and enjoyable.
T: This is a very well balanced flavor profile. While the aroma was subtle, the flavor bursts with piney sweetness, and leaves a lingering pine and citrus aftertaste.
M: Smooth, silky, carbed well.
O: This is the first falconers flight showcase I've had, and I enjoyed it quite a bit! I won't seek it out, but I'd recommend this one.

Pours a hazy coppery amber with 1/2 an inch of fluffy white/golden tinged head that fades with considerable lacing. The nose is dominated by citrusy hops, sweet grapefruit juice concentrate, and is kinda syrupy. The taste is relatively citrusy and sweet, has good balance, and is a tad cidery. It's typical-cask-IPA bodied, kinda thick and syrupy, beginning to finish hop penetration, slightly undercarbonated, and drinkable. There is a grapefruity rind bitterness that builds, but never becomes grossly bitter. It seems 2nd shift can throw together a pretty decent IPA and more will ensue.
