Don't know what to call it besides a Brett Beer. This one gets aged for 3 months in oak barrels with Brettanomyces Lambicus, a cool yeast that gives this beer a wonderfully pretty aroma and flavor that everyone better like or else I'll look you up and teach you a lesson.

Bottled on 01/20014. 750mL bottle with cap. Bright, pale yellow with a slight haze, thin white lace. Lemon zest aroma, yeast, slight funk, white pepper, and cidery edge. Thin, crackery, semi-tart, lemony, stone fruits, nectarine, peach skin, phenolic/medicinal, oaky, pepper, apples, vinous, dry, cidery and earthy finish.

Acidic, but not overwhelming. Barrel-aging really helped mellow and meld things. Lots of stone fruit character. Quite enjoyable.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a tulip glass. Pours a yellow color with very little head that disappears quickly. Sour smell from the brett and a great taste. The mouthfeel has just the right amount of carbonation and tartness. Not too sour but gives just enough pucker to make it a great wild ale. 2nd Shift continues to impress!

Opaque yellow pour with two finger white head. Nice aroma with lemon and citrus dominating. Taste is nice between the lemon and citrus fruit flavor but finishes with a nice brett pickup. Nice an light, quiet enjoyable on a hot humid day and easy to put down. Nice beer overall.
