On tap at The Bridge in St. Louis.
A - Poured a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of bubbly foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass.
S - It smelled of spices and a touch of funkiness. Some caramel, too.
T - It tasted slightly funky with a spicy bite and sweet caramel.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A light to medium bodied ale with a dry finish.
O - This is interesting. Didn't taste much like a saison.

Bottled on 01/20014. 750mL bottle with cap. Bright, pale yellow with a slight haze, thin white lace. Lemon zest aroma, yeast, slight funk, white pepper, and cidery edge. Thin, crackery, semi-tart, lemony, stone fruits, nectarine, peach skin, phenolic/medicinal, oaky, pepper, apples, vinous, dry, cidery and earthy finish.
Acidic, but not overwhelming. Barrel-aging really helped mellow and meld things. Lots of stone fruit character. Quite enjoyable.

Poured from the bottle a cloudy straw yellow with one finger to bubbly white head.
The aroma was tart lemon and white grapes with an earthy funk to it.
The tart lemon and white grape were present in the taste along with hints of floral and earthy brett notes through the finish.
Light-to-medium bodied, crisp and dry with a sharp carbonation.
A fairly straight forward and easy drinking Wild Ale but nothing out of the ordinary.
