Don't know what to call it besides a Brett Beer. This one gets aged for 3 months in oak barrels with Brettanomyces Lambicus, a cool yeast that gives this beer a wonderfully pretty aroma and flavor that everyone better like or else I'll look you up and teach you a lesson.

On tap at The Bridge in St. Louis.

A - Poured a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of bubbly foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass.

S - It smelled of spices and a touch of funkiness. Some caramel, too.

T - It tasted slightly funky with a spicy bite and sweet caramel.

M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A light to medium bodied ale with a dry finish.

O - This is interesting. Didn't taste much like a saison. (439 characters)

Bottled on 01/20014. 750mL bottle with cap. Bright, pale yellow with a slight haze, thin white lace. Lemon zest aroma, yeast, slight funk, white pepper, and cidery edge. Thin, crackery, semi-tart, lemony, stone fruits, nectarine, peach skin, phenolic/medicinal, oaky, pepper, apples, vinous, dry, cidery and earthy finish.

Acidic, but not overwhelming. Barrel-aging really helped mellow and meld things. Lots of stone fruit character. Quite enjoyable. (452 characters)

Opaque yellow pour with two finger white head. Nice aroma with lemon and citrus dominating. Taste is nice between the lemon and citrus fruit flavor but finishes with a nice brett pickup. Nice an light, quiet enjoyable on a hot humid day and easy to put down. Nice beer overall. (281 characters)

Pours to a very light straw colored gold body. Head is egg shell white and reaches nearly an inch before it quickly starts to fade. Nose is wonderfully fruity and promising of a nice tart feel. Pear, melon and lemon zest all play. The flavors are very bright with tones of sweet cream and melon. With so much zest if you let this one set on your tongue you get an almost peroxide like effect. I don't say this in a bad way it is really quite charming. Not all that sour but a lovely beer overall. (503 characters)
