350 ml cans in Brazilian Amazon and again at Manuas aeroporte.
Initially decent but weak white head over a clear, light golden body. Light colored even for style. OK lacing. FEEL: Light body with crisp, medium-high carbonation. taste: typical light lager with hints of cereal as well and light malts and a touch of hops. Mild but lingering aftertaste more clearly reveals the herbal hops as well as some metallic aspects. smell: faint cereal and light malts with a touch of spicy hops. O: average at best for this style in northern Brazil. Certainly not worth seeking out.

I enjoyed this at Botequim Informal in Leblon while visiting some friends in Rio De Janeiro. Restaurants in Brazil are vicious in their competition for the title of best "draft house" in the city even though there are only three popular draft beers here (Kaiser, Antarctica, and Brahma), and a restaurant will only serve 1 of the three, no mixing of brands here. So to win the title of best draft house really depends on the pour and apparently Botequim Informal has been voted Rio's best draft house for 3 years running. As the beer arrived to my table I started to realize why. A magnificent billowing creamy white head sat upon a golden color body. I won't talk about taste that much because the taste is very similiar to Skol, in that it's ok but nothing special, but the body in this beer was heavenly. It was like drinking a cloud. Extremely light and creamy. I will admit that if i haven't had this beer in draft form outside of this bar, so it probably isn't normally like what i experienced, but i can only review what i know.

A true draft beer in Brazil is called Chopp. Anyone who rates Brahma Chopp and enters bottle is a Dumass. We were getting ready to kick it in Sao Paulo...but need to in fuse some Brahma Chopp.

A-4 huge white foamy head that laces well, golden clear
S-2 nothing
T-3.5 low carbonation, very smooth beer, not overly grainy
M-4 can drink a ton

Putz, after taking a Backer and Wäls is cowardice review... It was more in order to increase my alcoholic content, but the corn-metallic taste is apparent. Here in the Central North Mine is the sold with Skol, but I see no difference with Crystal, or Itaipava Lokal (the latter seems to have more hops, or artificial aroma of hops, whatever), then the cost-effective when compared sucks; why pay R$ 5.00 in a bottle of Brahma or Skol is a Lokal or Crystal priced at R$ 2.00 (at the bar)? Or worse, Heineken for R$ 4.99, it's not even compare. I will continue being boring and not take Brahma / Skol was only to increase my (useless) evaluations.

appearance: The head is 0.3" and white, and soon retreats to a thin layer and a ring. The beer is a clear, pale golden in color.

smell: The nose is of pale grains, rice, sulfur, and a touch of hops. Pretty meh...bland.

mouthfeel: The carbonation is on the low side of the high range, and the body thin.

taste: Flavors of watery grain and adjuncts, and a touch of papery hop flavor. A light bitterness lingers. Not off or anything, but considerably bland and watery. Didn't really make enough of an impression with it's meek presence to warrant more than a 2.0.

drinkability: easy to drink, but because it's like water

12oz. can from the mini-fridge in my room in Guarulhos. Review entered from notes taken on hotel stationery.

Similar products, similar comments:
A product of Ambev, this beer is a commercial lager style, made for a mass of consumers wishing to drink something (slightly) different than water. It´s not too different in comparison with their competitors, many of them also produced by Ambev (Antarctica, Skol, Bohemia, Original).
A pale lager beer, with low bitterness (around 11 IBU), Original Gravity around 11,5 Plato. Almost no fermentation aroma.

Well, the only purpose of this is to make you drink a lot of it in a brazilian hot day...

My Brother-in-Law brought this back from Brazil*. He told me it cost approximately 39 cents a can and it tasted like it. Gold with a large head that never went away. I smelled faint wheat tones maybe a small lemon or fruit. Taste was clean with no malt or hops to mention. It reminded me a of a Bud Light. Can't complain too much though.

*Off topic: what a nice job, flying planes from a manufacturer in Brazil to St. Martin to Cleveland.

Got this while in Brazil, at a decent wine, beer, and liquor shop in the downtown area of Larajeiras, Vitoria, E.S.

Big fizzy head fades at a medium pace over crystal clear golden yellow very light colored beer.

Nose of light pilsner and very light wheat and malts, light crisp lager, very light overall and slightly skunked despite being in a can.

Taste brings very light crisp lager pilsner flavors, an adjunct cheap malt extract taste with some skunk flavors, light icky bitterness in the finish as well. Light sweet malts and a bit of sweet lager fruits.

Mouth is super light with decent carbonation.

Drink is great though, it's essentially water, and on a super hot day in Brazil this isn't too bad to wash down, and probably safer than the water. However, that slight skunk flavor takes away a bit from the drink.

This is not a Mulata, neither in colour, nor temperament!
This beer is just about as light in colour as a beer can get, and the foam is white as pure, norwegian snow. It doesn't hold as long as the snow however, but disappears quite quickly. The beer is freshly sparkling and with a dry, clean taste that is taken over by a slight hop touch. A typical tropical pilsner without much attitude, but at least refreshing and harmonic in whatever little taste it has...

Found some notes on this beer in my suitcase. Consumed on tap at some forgettable bar in Asuncion, Paraguay.

The beer was served ice cold with a white head atop a fizzy yellow body. Smells and tastes like some economy Macro brew I would expect to find in any college beer bong. Overall, this beer was underwhelming in all areas... and I finished the glass only out of an implied obligation to the person that bought it for me.

A- Very light body, very clear yellow, very ugly head. No lace...

S- Smells like bad sweet beer. Not much to it with a little alcohol.

T- Bready malt, a little watery, not much to talk about. Again, just a less than average beer.

M- Very light with a lot of carbonation.

D- Easy, but who cares?

Notes: I'm cervezango's friend that sang the song.
