one of the better American made pilseners ive had. this pours clear and radiantly glowing sunshine yellow, glassy and smooth, with obvious strong carbonation and a half inch of pure white lace on top. the nose is very fresh grains, on the lighter side, quintessentially Czech, with a light toast on some of them. hops are bittering only it seems, but with an American flare, somewhat more intense maybe than we are used to from the noble types, although i dont know what they use. the flavor is clean and bright, an all day beer, listed on the menu at 5% abv rather than the 5.8% stated here. must be some slight variation over time. I love the malts in this beer, impossibly fresh, as well as refreshing, and satisfying at the same time, still feels like a beer, with some body but also easy to drink. gorgeous carbonation, crisp finish, pure satisfaction. this went great with my sweet potato tater tots, and probably would with just about anything else on the food menu at haymarket. quality stuff right here.

From the can, it pours a clear yellow color with a nice white head that hangs around. Lacing as it goes down. Light fresh scent of hops and grain. Lightly pils bitter with a refreshing taste and a pleasant aftertaste.

Clear golden body, high carbonation, one finger of pearl white foam. Bready and grainy aromas with classic pilsner malts. Taste has a herbal dankness, some bitter vegetable hops in there too, but overall bready and crisp with malt. Feel has high bitterness for style, crispness and high carbonation. A fine pilsner.

12 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 3/12/2019. Pours fairly crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of pale malts and citrus/earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of pale malts and citrus/earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity/yeasty notes present. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is an awesome German pilsner. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of pale malts and citrus/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink, with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Perfectly balanced clean pils malts and earthy noble hop showcase. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example.

Clear, golden body infused with lively carbonation; thin, white head. Cracker aroma with a grassy, floral hop note. Initial taste is of light cereal grain, then a bold hop bitterness emerges. Medium-light body; smooth and slick; mostly dry finish.

A fair pilsner, lacking a decent head and perhaps a bit too strong on the hop bitterness, but still worth experiencing.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that died down a bit but consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of pilsener malts are present in the nose along with notes of grassy hops.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of bready and grainy pilsener malts along with notes of grassy hops and a light to moderate amount of associated bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and has some refreshing properties.
